January 2007 - Cyprus

Mozart and the marionettes on a trip to Cyprus

The marionettes of Schönbrunn were given a warm welcome when they performed in Cyprus from January the 23rd to January 27th
About 2000 people in Larnaka, Limassol and Nicosia were taken into the magic realm of Mozart’s opera „The Magic Flute“ by the marionettes.
Performing in such big theatres like in Nicosia in front of an audience of 800 people is always a very special experience for the ensemble. It’s amazing how the marionettes „grow“ in ones mind and thus enchant people even further away from the stage.
