"Müllaria" is a present-day spectacle.
The spirit of our life is shown in a humorous and exaggerated way.
"Müllaria" - this is our today’s world.
SYNOPSIS
The rat SAXO lives in a district called “Müllaria” – a district where animals and alive garbage live together. SAXO is in charge of the place.
The half opened curtain allows a glimpse at a gift box on stage. Hands appear from within the box and slowly start to unpack it. Thus producing wrapping garbage. Slowly the box is disappearing and “Müllaria” gets into sight.
Now Saxo starts to introduce his friends.
Old party-dresses appear, playing-cards become alive and old shoes start to dance. Men on a bridge throw empty tins into the landscape.
As soon as people are gone an arrangement starts among the tins. They do not fit in here.
Saxo shows them the way of recycling.
Saxo's Solo begins. A snail crosses the stage on a skateboard demonstrating that snails do not necessarily have to move slowly. There are three tykes playing Dixie.
BREAK
Two cats – former opera stars – appear and try to bring culture into the hustle and bustle.
They are stopped by three slightly drunk bottles which try to ensnare a liqueur beauty.
A frog demonstrates his musical talent on a xylophone.
Encouraged by the rhythm the Rainbow-Girls, a mouse ballet, dance a Cakewalk.
Once again the tykes-band plays a Dixieland Double-time.
The show is over now and “Müllaria” plunges into hopelessness and uninportance again. Only Saxo stands next to his trash can thinking of the next performance.....
