The little night music
A romantic ballet to the music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
Duration: 30 min
Eine kleine Nachtmusik is a fantasy, light and airy, like the music which inspires it. Full of imagination and feeling, it is a dream without words which will appeal to all ages.
It is dusk. Fireflies and butterflies flit around in the evening air, while Sophie sits alone and preoccupied under a tree. Thomas comes on the scene, but she turns away from him shyly.
Puck, the little wood gnome, appears and makes fun of the bashful couple. Sophie and Thomas fall asleep. In their dream they are transported to the world of the Butterfly King and his Pink Fairy. Flowers dance with a peacock, Puck and a unicorn appear. Sophie and Thomas wake up. Cheered by their pleasant dreams, their cares are blown away.
